Daedalus Touch – Text Editor for iCloud App Reviews

Reading the tutorial first page and the pages do not slide right to left. Left to right works. Renders it useless to me. Too bad, it seems cool otherwise.

Ive been using this app fine since I first downloaded it but. This newest update has caused it to immediately crash the moment I touch the icon.

My fav iOS text editor is now updated for ios7... One thing, though: flipping between stacks is WAY too fast. Please fix! Keep up the great work

Nice and clean, would probably use it as my primary writing app if wasnt for the lightening fast flipping speed that hurts my eyes.

Stacks are a great idea. Very efficient & fast! Easy sync to Dropbox. Great app! Many thanks to the developers.

I love the left and right margins for quick cursor movement!

Really did not like this app, has a huge font size you cant change. The notes that comes default in apple is better.

Daedalus is superb. No words as justly sum up its existence. I would recommend it to all my friends, if they only added one feature: adding multimedia. Sometimes in Pages I will add a music file or otherwise into my notes. Not happening with Daedalus. If they would just add that, I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone with an iPad. Exceptionally beautiful and well thought out. Thanks.

I like the design, one feature is love to see is the ability to export HTML to email and text from markdown. I have a stack that has 500+ sheets, the app becomes unresponsive when I first open it. Its great once it catches up.

The fact that the app is a great writing tool is one thing; the in-app upgrades (themes, font loading) are worth every penny. Apple should be paying attention to this — iWork on iOS would actually be useful if you weren’t restricted to the usual typographical suspects we’ve all grown so tired of. Well done! (Love the new icon, too. Dock-worthy.)

This app is so bad, it actually qualifies as dangerous. I asked it to IMPORT notes from a Dropbox folder. Should be simple, right? No. This app CHANGED all of the files in that folder in the process, rendering my preferred sort order (chronological by last modified) useless. And I’m left with the enduring riddle of what exactly the app felt it had to do to my files in the first place… Very upsetting.

My work is constantly being deleted or its back spacing and sometimes it doesnt type at all! Please fix these bugs

Ive used Daedalus many times before and thought it was a brilliant app, but not anymore. Ive lost so much data and it isnt giving it back. Im trying to get it back but I dont know. Dont waste your money on this.

I use this app almost everyday. It is really useful, but need updated to compatible with iOS 10 .
