wonderful design but ...
This app is an excellent example of how iOS is allowing a complete re-think of software design. I would love to use it as my main text editor but unfortunately it seems likely to be more one of those strange quirky apps that isnt successful but inspires many other successes in later apps that steal concepts from it.
So far I can see two glaring problems that stop me from using this wonderful app. The first is that it integrates with "MobileMe" but MobileMe doesnt exist anymore so one can assume that there basically is no syncing of documents in this app. Even if I assume that the company merely didnt update the moniker and picking "MobileMe" will actually lead to iCloud, it doesnt bode well that this is still not updated after iCloud has been on the market for so long, (neither does the glaring typo on the first page of the manual). this leads me to believe this app is actually "abandonware" and isnt being updated anymore.
The second problem is that it doesnt work on an iPhone. Any kind of text editor/reader that isnt a full-blown word processor, needs to be available on all your devices and sync in iCloud. Until this app can do that, its probably a waste of the five dollars, despite how original and beautiful it is. My only hope is that Apple has bought them out which would explain the lack of updating to the program, and that the interesting UI will show up in a future iOS product.
